CENTRAL LINEN UNIT

The idea of having the department was conceived by the management of the
hospital with the aim
of taking care of the beddings, linen and clothings of the in-patiėnts
and of training the admitted patients in tailoring.
Activities
Sewing of ward linen etc, bedspreads, pillow cases for various departments.
Sewing uniforms for Psychiatric Student Nurses.
Sewing for Staff Nurses and other members of staff.
Sewing dresses for members of staff.
The Unit was commercialized recently to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.
