ENDOWMENT FUND FOR THE PROMOTION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND NEUROSCIENCES IN NIGERIA

The Endowment Fund for the Promotion of Mental Health and Neurosciences was
instituted and launched on 14th April, 1984 as part of activities marking the 40th
Anniversary of the establishment of the hospital. It is geared to exclusively fund high
scientific or technical projects in the field of Mental Health and Neurosciences, which
will generate results that will invariably impact on the health of the populace.

Ageing and the problems of memory (Dementia)
Stroke and its Neurological sequelae.
Child birth and its associated psychological problems.
Stress and coping mechanisms.
Youths and the problems of cultism.
Alcohol and drug abuse
Behavioural problems in children.
Street people and problems of vagrancy.
Other targeted neuropsychological problems
