HORTICULTURE UNIT

The Unit was inaugurated on Ist June 2003 by Dr (Mrs.) Adamson the Provost and
Medical Director to ensure a clean and beautiful hospital environment
It took off with a staff strength of (5) Work Attendants and (1) Horticulturist
Activities
Beautification of the hospital premises with ornamental plants, that is flowers
of different types. This involves propagation of seedlings as well as establishment
of such at the desired locations. To this end a nursery had been established.
The established plants must be well maintained in terms of Weeding. Trimming.
Wetting etc.
