MEDICAL SERVICES
The Medical services department is involved in the clinical assessments of all patients. This involves history taking, examination, diagnosis and management of the patients. The initial assessment is carried out in the Assessment/Emergency unit and the disposal of the patients can be to the wards if admission is necessary, or to the out-patient clinic. The department is made up of the Consultant Psychiatrists and the Resident Doctors undergoing their post-graduate training in psychiatry.
