NPH Aro hosted Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association monthly meeting.

On September 26, 2024, the Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association, Abeokuta branch, convened its monthly meeting at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro Abeokuta, graciously hosted by the Provost and Medical Director.

The gathering venue was in the hospital’s conference hall with the stirring performance of the Great Ife Anthem, followed by an inspiring welcome address from the Chairman, Mr. Tope Olanrewaju. He emphasized the vital role of alumni engagement and the importance of collaboration.

A standout moment of the event was the decoration of Dr. A.A. Agboola with the prestigious Alumni Mufla, alongside a heartfelt presentation of a gift to the Provost. In his remarks, Dr. Agboola expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support from the alumni and reaffirmed the commitment to advancing association and professional development.

The meeting saw robust attendance from alumni members, including esteemed staff from the Neuropsychiatric Hospital who are also alumni. Notable attendees included Dr. Okulaja (HOD of Physiotherapy), Mr. Dada (Deputy Director of Nursing Education), Mr. Ajao (Assistant Director of Physiotherapy), and Mr. Ashimolowo (Administrative Officer).  

This gathering not only celebrated the achievements of alumni but also strengthened the bonds that unite them in their shared mission for progress and excellence.
