PROVOST REPRESENTS THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEALTH AS EMINENT NIGERIANS BID FAREWELL TO FIRST FEMALE MINISTER IN NIGERIA.

Dr Paul Agboola, the Provost and Medical Director of Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta on Friday 29th March, 2025 represented Dr Iziaq Adekunle Salako, Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare at the final burial service for the first female Minister in Nigeria, Late Chief (Mrs.) Adenike Ebun Oyagbola.

The church service held at Saint Paul Anglican Church, Ayetoro, Yewa had in attendance children of the deceased, family members, well wishers and eniment Nigerians from all works of life.

Some of the dignitaries in attendance at the church service included the Honourable Minister of State for Health, ably represented by Dr Paul Agboola, the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, represented by the Head of Civil Service in Ogun State, Mr Kehinde Onasanya, Senator representing the good people of Yewa in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Chief Mrs. Iyabo Apampa, former Chairman of Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Aro Management Board, Dr S. A. J. Ibikunle, Chairman, Endowment Fund for Neurosciences, Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Aro, Ambassador Onyeama, former Minister of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria.

Also in attendance were Chief Asiwaju, Chief Niyi Otegbeye, Chief Kunle Elegbede, Chief Mrs. Yemisi Abass, Iyaloja General in Ogun State, Honourable Suraj Adekunbi, Former Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Senator Kola Bajomo, Prof. Rahman Bello, former Vice Chancellor University of Lagos and host of other eniment Nigerians grace the event.
